Augustine - De Unitate Ecclesiae - On the Unity of the Church - An English Translation

It has never before been translated into English. It is an important work dealing as it does with schism and in what it reveals of Augustine's ultimate commitment to the authority of the scriptures and his view of unity. This is especially pertinent with respect to the controversy between the Roman Catholic Church and the Reformers and the entirety of the Reformation movement.
